Local image processing

Privacy

Your selected images and pixel data are processed in your browser.

What happens to an image

The converter reads your selected file into browser memory to decode, preview, crop, convert and export it. It does not send your image or pixel data to a server, write them to local storage, or create an image cloud-storage record.

The downloaded PNG is saved through your browser to the location you choose. Clearing the editor or closing the page discards the working image from the converter. Files you download remain wherever you save them.

Normal website requests

Your browser requests the site's HTML, scripts, styles and images from the website host. Trying a sample requests a sample image hosted with the site. The host may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time; that information is separate from your chosen image's contents.

Accounts, cookies and tracking

The product has no accounts. The converter does not use cookies or persistent browser storage for your images, crop position or other conversion settings.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It receives information such as visited pages, referring pages, browser or device details, and successful imports, conversions and exports. Tool events use fixed categories such as sample or user image, grid size, palette type and export scale. Images, pixels, file names, saved palette names, custom colors and original error messages are not sent.

Choosing No thanks keeps Google Analytics off. You can change or withdraw your choice through Analytics settings in the footer. Your choice is remembered in this browser's local storage. Withdrawing consent stops subsequent tracking, clears this site's Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page; work in the editor will be cleared. It does not erase information already received by Google. The converter works with either choice. Analytics requests go to Google, separately from local image processing, and may use cookies to distinguish visits.

You can also restrict analytics cookies or requests through browser settings or blocking tools. Learn more about Google's data practices in the Google Privacy Policy.

Custom palettes saved on your device

If you save a custom palette, its name, identifier and RGB colors are stored in this browser's local storage so you can reuse it on a later visit. Up to 20 palettes can be saved. Imported palette files are read locally; neither the files nor their colors are sent to a palette service. Your chosen image and its pixels are never included in the saved palette library.

You can delete saved palettes in the Custom palette controls or clear this site's browser data. Clearing browser data removes the saved library. If browser storage is blocked or full, palettes remain usable for the current session but cannot be restored after you close or reload the page.

External source links

Some pages link to artwork sources and palette documentation. Following those links opens another website, which has its own privacy practices. The converter does not fetch those external pages to process your image.
